We want to make your experience with us as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Have a glass of wine, slip under a blanket with your choice of music in your headphones and relax. Our team will get to work to save your tooth!

What is a Root Canal?

Inside every tooth is a pulp full of nutrients and nerves. If this pulp becomes diseased or injured, this important and delicate pulp dies. If you don’t remove it, your tooth becomes infected and may be lost. But now, even teeth with disease deep in the nerve can be saved with a root canal.

After we remove the diseased pulp, the root canal is cleaned and sealed off to protect it. We then place a crown to make your tooth strong and healthy, and to keep out bacteria.

We work hard to exceed the expectations of our patients with surgical excellence in a fun and pampering environment. This outstanding combination of skill and attentive concern for every patient’s comfort makes Dr. Mitchmore your choice for easy, effective Houston root canals.
